Laughing Laughing Laughing

The green one is a 23' eight man canoe. Got it cheap and it only goes out on special occasions like family get togethers. It's a bit of a pig to paddle with only two people on board!

Oprn, i assume your buggy does ok moving tank around? Also assuming it’s a water tank? I’d think getting it to stop and not shove the buggy down a slope would be biggest problem?

An interesting thing happens in forums where everyone starts parroting the same thing and "common knowledge" takes over.
Most experts aren't.

I tend to use boat launches! You don't pack that one very far!

300 gallons to water the garden so that's approaching 4000 pounds full. No baffles so you don't take a part load! The dugout is a mile and a bit away with no hills. The Bus transaxle, 26" rubber and 1641 SP has no issue at all power wise and 4 wheel drum brakes (Bus rears) stop ok from 30 mph.

Unrelated to offroad VWs, if you are interested in river adventures I just finished this book https://hatch-river-store.myshopify.com/products/riverman-the-story-of-bus-hatch on Bus Hatch, one of the original desert river guides. It was super entertaining, if that is something that interests you.
