Hi, just wondering if anyone has the correct original colour code (RAL) for the
(a) bumbers (b) Wheels (c) VW badge on 1972 baywindow crossover ? |

The German RAL code (since 1927, Reichs-Ausschuß für Lieferbedingungen - Imperial Committee for Delivery and Quality Assurance) is used for standardized colors in prints and some paints, but not for all the shades of very different car colors.
However, a small RAL classic color fan (there are more comprehensive ones) is an inexpensive and useful tool for color questions in the classic car garage and in the DIY household. 
The VW color codes can be decoded using mixing charts from many European paint manufacturers as Glasurit, Lesonal, Standox, ... but today mostly hidden behind payment portals and not freely accessible. Intended more for professional painters and paint dealers.

(a) bumbers and (c) VW badge L90D pastell white (RAL 9010 pure white comes close to)
(b) Wheels L91 chrome color (RAL 9006 white aluminium comes close to)

Many thanks Rolf for your speedy and informative response. I have the colour charts but i dont have the original paint to reference it to.
