Transaxle is in. I had help from Scott Sebastion in machining a pair of bearing caps to fit properly without having to use the shims that come in the CB disc brake kit. Next is to get the brakes done, and get the wheels back on so I can sit it on the ground.

Some of you may have noticed that I put this car up for sale. As well as my 1963 Cal Look Project Bug. Reason for this is, I have come down with ALS. And have lost the ability to do just about anything. It’s pretty devastating and hopefully it never happens to you. _________________ If you`re going to do something, do it right. |

Sorry to hear that. I know health comes first, as my heart attack sure did put a dampener on what I could do.
Your Square sure was looking good with how you were detailing it on assembly. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Thanks. I’m just trying to clear out my things before I go, as ALS is a terminal disease. And I can’t even hold a wrench anymore. And I don’t want my kids to have to deal with an estate sale. Not easy, but I’m trying to do what I can while I can. _________________ If you`re going to do something, do it right. |
