Maybe some fresher, tighter clips?

Hey, I'm not exactly sure how those would work. These are the clips I was trying to use....
The same clips used to fix exterior trim often with the witches hat rubber...
A Google search (which admittedly I should have done before posting asking for help) shows the kit you can buy online which shows different clips altogether.
Seems I should have used those clips....are they similar to what you showed dangermouse? Ah well either way I kinda know to go from here...exterior trim clips not meant for meant for part it seems ... _________________ 1966 Ambulance Kombi Turned Dormobile Camper

I noticed in some of your engine pictures it appears there is no choke installed, just the clamp. I like the look of your car with those wheel spacers! |

Diablosandwhich - I appreciate that. Great to know what I'm looking for now.
Ppilotmike - geez I have never noticed that...the car starts beautifully hot or cold so not sure exactly what's going on there? I'll look into that. Good spotting! It's nice to have the wheels pumped out closer to the guards a little right? _________________ 1966 Ambulance Kombi Turned Dormobile Camper

Came across this and recalled this thread so will park this here for posterity.
Looks the subject vehicle of the thread has now been flipped; somebody got a nice car.
