Anyone know where I can purchase the throttle return spring bracket for 34 ICT dual carbs in the U.S.? Mine fell off, I lost it and now I have poor throttle. I have searched all over the internet and here on the samba with no success. Thanks for the help. It's number 43 here on this parts break down.

Piece #43 looks like a simple bracket with a right angle and a few holes. You could probably make something effective using a small metal right-angle mending plate from a HW store:

I don't like putting the throttle return spring on ITC's because the do not have bushings on the butterfly shaft and the springs on the carb wear out the main body of the carb faster. I put them on the linkage so it takes the stress off the BF shaft, I have a set of ITC's Mark Harney bushed for me and they run great, I wish he was still doing them.

Woot, had mine bushed, as well. I've always heard they're decent carbs, with that as the main detractor. I had an opportunity to swap some disc brake parts I didn't need for to work on my carbs from one of the carb rebuilders on here. He also rejected them for my engine size, including emulsion tubes. Win-win.
But, to bring this back on topic...I purchased the correct brackets from Carbs Unlimited, IIRC. I bought my carb set used at the Sacramento Bug-O-Rama swap meet, and it had the crappy cross bar linkage. The cone shaped filters had gotten woefully crushed, so I got the linkage kit CB Performance sells, which has IDF style filters, but also retains the return spring brackets that come with the carbs (and I did not get with my used carbs).
