This is a Brazilian bus. I believe both front door panels are replacements. As you can see, the top of the door is flush but it flares out toward the bottom. I adjusted the catch plate in as far as I could with no effect. Both doors do the same thing. Thoughts?

There have been other posts about this issue.
And the consensus is the door is supposed to be a 1 mm proud of the chassis.

My bus is outbound to. My bus has a heavy rubber trim, which likely causes the problem.

In a perfect world back when it came off the boat the door was flush, with today's stiff seals you have to settle for it sticking out a little. But it should close easily when the windows are down, if you have to slam the sh*t out of it window down it's a lousy seal.

Vewib seals!!! My doors close easily with the old VW thunk rather than rattle, and they are flush, not proud. The right seals ARE available and excellent in every way!!!

The only seal on my bus that is not Vewib is the left rear side. It is Wolfsburg West. When I pulled it out of the box, I was very pleased. It looked and felt like a great seal in every way. However, I spent more time getting that one seal placed than all the seals excluding the cab doors put together. The Vewib slid in with a bare spritz of soapy water in moments yet are sealed tightly. The WW is awesome, once/if you get them placed, but are a BEAR due to SLIGHT oversizing. They don’t suck, they just wear your ass out. Get Vewib everything!
