How about... VWs NOT in movies?
Despite the German-focussed cars in the movie F1 (Porsche and AMG), the writers chose a Ford van instead of a VW Bus for the Baja sequence. Missed opportunity! _________________ Current Fleet:

^ That's Mr May's own buggy. Here's my post from 2021 about it:

"Top Gear" British presenter James May's own buggy. Mr. May was one of the 3 presenters/hosts in the TV show "Top Gear", from 2003 thru 2015. On one of the related shows from 2016, the team traveled to Africa for "The Grand Tour of Namibia" where he acquired the buggy which he brought back to England and had restored/rebuilt by the VW shop Kingfisher Kustoms. This video from August 2021 has excellent, clear footage of him driving it.

The T-shirt has the rear diagonal supports on the roll bar which the car did not have in the photos above. |

I’m guessing it’s Ted Bundy’s passenger seat? _________________ '60 Canadian Standard, '64 Bug, '66 Bug, '66 Bus, '69 Sunroof Bug, '71 Super, '72 Super, '73 Canadian Custom, '73 Super, '74 Love Bug, '83 Mexi Bug, '94 Mexi Bug, '99 New Beetle, '02 New Beetle Turbo S. And some Fieros. |

It does look very similar to the driver's seat:

Bottom photo has the wide headrest; the one above has the later, narrower version. _________________ Current Fleet:
