1 have a 1960 bug with a dent in middle of roof from windshield to b pillar. What year models roof clips can I use? A tree did not like the bug as much as me.

I am pretty sure you can use a 1958 thru 1964. Prior to 1958, the windshield was different sized, and after 1964, the windshield changed again.
1958 thru 1964 all had the same glass.

You is new here, let us hear more about your Bug, lets see some photos please, photos are easy to post via the "gallery " tab at the top of the page.

A BIG WELCOME to YOU!!!

Hope your Bug can be fixed!!

Show us some photos, panel repair might be better than a roof replacement.

Post some pics, it may not be as bad as it looks. Or maybe it's a good excuse to graft in a ragtop?

It depends on how close to the windshield opening you need and if you want to include part of the A and B pillars or not.

If your donor clip needs to include the A&B pillars as well as the upper windshield opening, then as noted earlier you're looking for a '58-'64 donor.

If your donor clip just needs to be within the confines of the side pinch seams and a couple inches to the rear of the windshield opening, then you can quite literally use any year Beetle made as a donor since the roof contour in that area stayed the same throughout production.
