Look at the nice buggy tires on the tractor in the background. |
Ya those are about 5 feet tall. With the calcium fill those two would weigh more than my entire sand rail! |
I was at a mud pit today where hillbillies destroy various modified truck and buggy shaped objects. With locked 4WD, "military" axles and loads of V8 horsepower... some of 'em run tractor tires without the calcium chloride ballast.
I remember when they banned VW buggies at mud bogs. The truck guys were embarrassed immediately and constantly when our lightweight buggies skipped across the pit like water bugs while their heavy trucks sunk to the bottom and found their traction down there.
What goes around comes around. The truck guys figured out when it comes to mud bogs it's easier to lose weight than it is to find more horsepower.
Those Rockwell axles weight literally a ton.

So is everybody just going to ignore the fact that BFB and OPRN just had a back-and-forth where they complimented AND agreed with each other? _________________ Brian H.

An interesting thing happens in forums where everyone starts parroting the same thing and "common knowledge" takes over.
Most experts aren't. |
