If we shoot for breakfast at 9:00, I have time to get there from Black Forest. Should be an easy cruise on a Saturday morning. Wink

So I'm scanning the area around Indiana St and 6th for breakfast. There's a Louis' Cafe a couple miles from that intersection. Open 7-2.

Anybody from Golden comment?

Right across from my parole officer, perfect since I have to check in there each Saturday, for a friend.

Traveling with dogs is fairly easy for us. Two dogs (Keeshond and Corgi). Looking for a motel? "Best dog friendly motels in ______________". You get a list with links. Only thing is that the uncharge for dogs is now frequently $20 per night per dog.
Dinner? "Best dog friendly restaurants in ___________". You get a list. For example, we found a great pet friendly place in Pendleton Oregon just 1 mile from our pet friendly motel. Nice place and easy to get to. Water dishes all over the restaurant.
Yes there are inconveniences. Going to places in National Parks we sometimes have to see things in sifts. Our dogs also provide of pet therapy for folks who had to leave their dogs at home.

Looks like we will be staying at the koa near golden (central city?) tuesday nite after labor day. Leaving gunnison brite and early. Taking the long way home thru grand junction, then 70 east almost all the way home. I70 wasn't really a thing last time out that way in the mid 70's. Last 2 trips to gunnison had a 7.3 powerstroke, looking forward to using a 6.7 powerstroke to haul the 30' trailer this time.

We are now 3 days away from the breakfast meet. Are all parties still confirmed?
