That is a beautiful SS Panel. I love that back window as well. I almost have mine cleaned out. I should be able to post more picts in the coming week.

Not much out there for swivelseat literature. I was able to find this piece though. It claims that you could get it in a standard or deluxe, although I have never seen one like that from the factory. While it might appear to say you could get it in an ambulance, it actually says you can get it in a salesflap bus.

any mention in the literature about getting a swivel seat bus in a sunroof kombi like the one John Pickens has? |

The sunroof is just another option, like the swivelseat. Both options were available for kombis, separately or in at least one case together.
The big dealership options catalogs that I have seem to start in 1963, which was pretty much at the end of swivelseat production. Of course I will keep digging deep to try to find more literature on them. _________________ .

Maybe up for sale once I get it out of shop.....just don't see having the money to finish the way I want to, so just not sure at this point, these last 4 plus years have just made me kinda loose interest due to not having a bus to drive, plus I'm not 30 anymore and getting old, heck it might be another 4 years to get some wheels under it they way I want it. |

Don't loose hope just yet; having the paint done is a HUGE part of the equation. You are closer to the finish line than you might think. Just might have to dial back that "dream" list for later on.
Why not put it back together with what parts/motor you were already using when it was a driver? _________________ WANTED:

never enjoyed driving with rgbs with big motor....I prefer lowered, unless it's bone stock with 36hp. Have an irs to go in it.....but to do the conversion with all the trimmings is costly to get the stance |

An October 1962 Swivel Seat Panel converted to a camper is currently up for auction on BaT. It was originally painted Turquoise which I don't believe I have ever seen another m-coded L380 Swivel Seat.

I have only seen a few post-1961 swivel seat buses. Too bad it is missing it's swivel driver's seat. As every swivel seat owner or enthusiast knows, they are super hard to find, and very expensive. They really open up the camping interior area and make the bus more comfortable for four people to hang out in. _________________ .
