these are Forst shoes from VWHeritage in the UK. I have no idea what quality they are. I try to use genuine ATE or Pagid on the bus, genuine Honda on the Acura, and whatever is good on the Sable wagon. It pays to research who has good shoes. If you look at the shoes in their photo, you can see how they chamfered the leading and trailing edge of the shoes. These are bonded shoes, which is most common. However if someone sells riveted shoes, loose rivets can cause vibration also.

So, here's an anticlimactic reply.
I replaced the brake shoes again. But this time i received shoes with a different material 'brake pad' Forgot to take pictures, but they are a bit greenish and the material feels somewhat 'softer'
Checked for rubbing spots on the backing plates, but none to be found. Bolted everything together again and guess what.. no more Squealing. Have driven it a bunch. and no more beaten pig noises or anything.
Brakes do feel a bit 'different' but it stops like it should, but this time without all the noises that used to come along with it.
I'm very pleased, but will have to call my supplier to confirm which brake shoes these are, because i want a spare set. (until i eventually get disc brakes.)
Thank's for all the advice and feedback. _________________ It does not matter how slow you go, as long as you don't stop
