I suspect that the original poster is inquiring about a different "Big Wednesday" event. The one on the So Cal beach held once a year (on a Wednesday) with lots of VWs.

As I remember, Big Wednesday has never been advertised or promoted. It was always a given, second Wednesday of August you skip work and go surf. It’s been big, it started small. Take that for what it is. Good luck _________________ I love Jesus |

Been lots of Damage to the coastline over here, but I have NOT been to this location for a while. You're talking about the State Park entrance South San Clemente
If it's ON, you gotta get there Very early to get a spot. They usually line up outside the park from 2am onward! Crazy yes! I'm 5 minutes away, last time left at 4 am-it was packed.
I know Capo Beach was hammered lately, many parking spots are just gone.
The State probably will not be fixing the damage, (they rarely do) any time soon.
I live here.
The first 20 feet of Beach damage is common & normal, seen it for over 40 years. It once was repaired quickly, not so much these days.
You could call Newsom though ! Tell um many migrant Boats come there, they might build them a pier and hotel for 80 billion or so. Maybe even a high speed rail system & bank machines! _________________ kaiser kills kids.com |
