Back in my home town they had a couple of rigs very similar to that for the guys that checked parking meters and gave out parking tickets. Yes they had yellow flashing lights on the roof too.

I never knew that these were imported to Canada. Pretty difficult to find parts for.

I’ve never seen a Trabant in the US, which I miss as I spent most of the 1980s in special ops in East Berlin smuggling secrets out in them
Classics.com tells us there is one on the market at the moment.
