Get there once in your life and visit the spot. You will never use the phrase โGroundZeroโ again, out of this context _________________ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐ ๐ ๐ |

In 1974 Checker's master left office in disgrace. I remember a press conference where he was asked if he had bugged his own brother's phone. His response was "Yes, but he was aware of it". The followup question was "Was he aware of it before or after it happened?" His answer was "He was aware of it DURING the time that it happened". A typical response from the master! |

As we should never forget...
...And yes, Glen. It does still hurt. It also hurts that most people have either forgotten or blow it off now as a piece of history that's irrelevant.
It's a sad world we are living in these days. _________________ "Rita," my 1969 Standard Sunroof Bug

In 1963. The 16th street Baptist Church in Birmingham AL was bombed by white supremacists turned desperate by the turning tide of public opinion.
