Not to be the glass half empty guy here, BUT...

Having owned my Ghia for over 40 years, and having plenty of friends with old, classic american steel like the Mustangs, which car rusts faster, an old Ghia or an old Mustang?

I know we try to take care of our cars really well, but left to their own devices, both were known for rust quickly.

Both of the posted cars look great actually.

Very Happy

Nice rides Cool
It has to be tough to drive the Ghia after cruising in the Mustang.
The power ratio's must be quite different.

Actually the Ghia has more rust than the Mustang, but fortunately it is just a small area under the back seat that is about to get fixed.

True, the Mustang has more power with a 289 (now 302) with a 4-barrel, but since I have dual 40s in the Ghia (unknown engine size since I have not had it opened and the PO is no longer with us) the Ghia can feel like it is hauling pretty fast.
