Eddie also had / has a pink bus.

Dustin Hoffman had a convertable Ghia that was parked in the Autohaus museum in Lancaster, PA a few years back. (I don't know if it's still there)

Bundy got caught here in Pensacola. He was pulled over right on the corner of the shop my Grandmother was working at (art store). They stood there and watched as Ted was cuffed and stuffed. It was a pretty big deal back then of course. Grandmother never forgot the about the bug, the day I drove up in my first VW she rolled her eyes and made some smartass comment about "great got yourself one of the serial killer cars! Shocked "

Oh and before I forget Luciel Ball had a lowlight ghia I believe its in a museum in the LA area.
Ice Cube also had a bug that he drove before NWA hit it big.

Tom Hanks had (has?) a Syncro Westy with really nice custom interior.
He talked about it and some adventures in VW ownership back in '09 on a David Letterman episode.

He also maybe owned a Baywindow. Rumors it's in France with his autograph on it.

Some commonly known ones, Ewan McGregor, Ron Howard, and Mike Wolfe. I remember seeing pictures of Joshua Jackson pushing his Ghia vert off the road after breaking down (found in gallery, see below). cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy has a really nice oval
