It's been a few weeks since I had to buy gas, but the moto and the sports car will get a premium, probably ethanol-free, fill-up in the next week or so. I expect about $5.50/gal before Jenny helps me out. _________________ 2000 M Roadster

Why is it, when gas prices spike overnight to an absorbent level, do they take months to come down to a reasonable level of costs per gallon?
I mean the fuel at the station is/was already in the storage tank and paid for but, the stations jack the prices up ridiculously high too offset the next shipment of fuel delivered to the station overnight.
Our prices here in Oregon went up to almost $4.00 a gallon a few months ago and they are now, locally to me nearing $3.74 a gallon now.
I do feel for you folks in Ca. It's really high there anytime you buy fuel. _________________ I have learned over the years.

And over $5.00 for premium on credit at ARCO on Lytton and Rosecrans.
Apparently another spike/bubble for the next 10-14 days. _________________ Larry in OB
