WOW that looks like it worked pretty good. Almost ready for a clear coat. I know where I live that surface rust would grow like crazy.

If you want to try painting your new rear mat with a vinyl paint to come close to the original factory grey, SEM's "Storm grey" or "Warm grey" could work-

Scrub the mat with dishwashing detergent and a soft brush, dry it off, let it sit in the sun for a few hours to warm up. Then apply the spray in several light coats.
