Hey Obus.. just drill some holes and screw the brackets in... till you get around welding them.
That's what I did and it works very good. The center bracket gets a little loose sometimes but you just tighten it up and go.
check it out...

How much was shipping on those? |
Not too sure, cause I havent received my credit card statement.
Heres what they charged me ( GBP in pounds )
Complete kit 297.87
Carriage Net 80.00 (shipping I assume)
Total 377.87
I do know that the conversion for 350.00 GBP to american is 607.33. So I figure a little bit more with shipping. |
So they add the shipping into the price>? |
I guess, like I said, I haven't seen my credit card bill yet.
But, they attached the receipt to the work bill and both were the same amount..... so I am hoping that is all. |

I understand that a new low cost, high quality safari kit with all that parts will be introduced in the next few weeks. A sample is rumored to be available for show at the next OCTO show. Features to include: correct profile metal channel; rubber seal molded with "corners" to fit the window frame....rather than a straight piece that is difficult to get around the bends. They are also producing a reproduction for barndoors.

to save myself from the millions of PM's price is 575.00 plus shipping for a set of them, this is still cheaper than CE, quality is better than Wolfgang and the bonus....you'll have these within a week, you don't have to wait months! _________________ I own a copy of "The Car of the Century" by Garwood. CE safari kit also comes with wiper disengages and "one eyed duck" but Izzi's or Wolfsgang safaris do NOT.
So i think pricewise and quality wise CE repro kit is still better than others.
CE kit = $680 (350GBP) + $? (Shipping included? sorry i dont know)
Wolfsgang kit = $450 (kit) + $10 (one eyed duck) + $135 (Wiper Shafts) + $45 (Shipping) = $640 |

Are Izzy's safari window frames white? my wolfgang frames are kind of off-white...what's up with that?
Are the frames supposed to be white or blue-white? (my '64 is a turkis-white)

the frames should match the upper color of the bus, just like popout window frames. _________________ .

just paint them to match your bus. its not really all that feasible for them to have each color of safaris, especially when repainted buses that are supposed to be the same color never seem to match each other exactly.
or just track down a set of orginal paint ones to match your bus. (easier said than done) _________________ .
