I am putting a 65 vert i am restoring back together. Purchased a used wiper switch from wolfsburg west. But the new switch looks different than the old one with different labels for the connectors.

Old switch had connectors labeled 54d, 31b, and 54 (with two connections for 54). The new switch has 54d, 31, 31b, and 54 (but only one conection for 54). Please help tell me how to wire the new switch to be equivalent to the old !

I am assuming 54d old is 54d new, 31b old is 31b new, 54 old is 54 new. But I am missing another 54 connector on the new. Second 54 old is ?? on the new ?

Would really love to get this back together this weekend.
Thanks !
Dean

Put the two wires for curcuit 54 on one female spade connector and then put them on the terminal marked 54
Im not sure what 54 is but if they are marked the same then they are probably connected in the switch on your old switch.
