Early 80's Westy Seats

Any suggestions on where I can get either a rear facing jumpseat or a single seat and tracks for my 84 Westy?

Junkyards are the best bet. I've gotten a few jump seats from later model Vanagons. I've got one mounted in my '81 Westy now and it is real nice.

I previously had a two-person Vanagon middle seat mounted in (without rails, just bolted through the floor) but it prevented me from using the ice box. I mostly just used this set-up in the fall/winter. I've also seen the single seat with rails and they seem to take up alot of room right in the middle of the van. They are pretty hard to come by too.

The jump seat is definitely the way to go though and it comes out very easily if you need more space. Just be sure to get the passenger side jump seat bracket and the seat belt hardware if you can.
