Found this sitting behind my aunt's house. What a piece... I know that with the pictures my cell phone takes, one can't tell the difference between a pile of dogshit and a vintage Mercedes Benz. Oh well, it's what I had at the time.

Can anyone tell me what it's worth?

It's worth whatever I'm willing to give you for it.

Is it a 180 or 190? Can't make it out from the pics.
Is it a runner?
What colour interior? What kind of condition?

It's worth somewhere in the range of $100 to $2500 from what I can see. beat to shit Pontons are a dime a dozen. Nice ones are not.

From where I come from, that does not look like a pile. I know you said the pics make it look better, but.......no dents, no rust.

Is the interior all tore up? What makes it a pile?

I was joking about the 'pile'. The car is actually pretty nice. It has 2006 tags, that expired in March. It's been running in the past year, I know that for a fact. White interior. It's a 180D. NOT ONE SINGLE DENT! I swear dude, not even a dent on the bumber guards! No pitting in the factory chrome. No missing trim (that I could tell). NO RUST AT ALL! I even checked the 'pan'... no rust underneath either.

The only thing that is "bad" about it is the paint. It is factory paint, NO RESPRAYS! It's some sort of raw metal silver color. A little darker than regular silver, but there's no clear left at all. All window trim and rubber look really really nice. Glass is perfect. The drivers seat has a cover on it, ya remember those covers that looked like sheeps wool? From the early '90s? Yeah, well I am not sure what's under it. For all I know that drivers' seat may be a mess, but the rest of the interior looks cherry.

180D's are cool. I had one for a while and the engine is just a thing of beauty.

That chrome looks amazing.

The chrome is all dusty and tarnished. I would love to see some polish hit those bumpers! They would sparkle for sure! Like I said, no rust and no pitting either.

Buffing and polishing OG paint/chrome is acceptable.

I watched a really nice, clean, well-running 180D sell for $3800 not too long ago on eBay. I was *really* tempted, but there's a lot of other cars I want too. That, and it was all the way over in Washington state. Wink

That car is nice! Look at that grill, looks perfect in the picture. I think I would detail it and drive it as is. How much is it worth? Depends where you are. I think 4-5K in the right California location.
