I am installing a set of dual Weber 40s for the first time. I have seen the Airflow meters to sync the carbs, but these seem like they would only work if you were using velocity stacks. (the meter doesn't look like it would fit the throat of the carb).

I was told that there is an adapter for a two barrel carb without the stacks, but I have not found one.
Any advice for synchronizing these? Is it possible to use a mercury stick instead of the airflow meter?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

I just use a piece of pipe the same size as the carb opening and tall enough to get over the air cleaner bolt. It works great! Mark
