So i got my padded trans mount and idk how to make this fit. I have a swing axle frame horn so im i going to need to srilla hole for the bolt or trim away some of the flange from the frame horn. i did find a pic of someone else using this mount but they had an IRS frame horn. Any help or pics would be nice. _________________ 61 bug on its way

Well you did say you bought a padded mount...I have converted and reinforced many a trans but I only use hard mounts...They say the rubber ones don't transfer as much vibration but I don't really buy it.... |

Spazz, I think I know what you're calling flanges, it's where the two pieces of sheet steel are joined to make the frame horn, no? If it were me, I'd drill rather than cut, you just need to make room for the bolts that hold the clamps together, right? |
