Looks to me like the stock-size window was retained even though the top was sliced; a nice touch I've seen done on a lot of street rods. The 'blind spot' that is naturally part of a chopped car is reduced, and the added work makes it a little different.
Kudos to the person who performed the chop IMO; too many Beetles are made flat or 'squashed' when chopped. _________________ Organized people are just too lazy to look for stuff

Yes it is gilespie field in el cajon, ca. I haven't seen the bus over there. You like the Veeparts store over there? I for one like the large back window. It makes it very driveable. I also like how the chop turned out. I hate a bad chop job it looks horrible. _________________ "There was only one road back to L.A. | ya i like veeparts i have bought most of the stuff i needed when i restored my 67. Do yo go to taco bell by veeparts on the last sunday of every month. Theres usually an aircooled only show there. And you should go to the el cajon car show on main street if you dont already. Not sure when it starts tho. We need more vws to come so we can have a vw section. |
