Oi filipe.

Temos uma site para nosso clube aqui em Brasil
We have a site for our Club in Brasil.

http://www.hammerand.de/fusca/

@ Steve. I want to find out about shipping. Some friends even want me to ship to germany....
Thanks that you even like the green bus.
Actually it was a funny incident because before I moved from Germany to Brazil, I had a green Baywindow. So this one was my first choice to buy.

might be a niche market biz there for you ... maybe us Smile

What does a nice low milage camper commonly go for over there? They are pretty pricey over here as a quick perusal of Samba will show you. The cost of shipping from there to here is basically the cost of shipping a container on a container ship. There are no import fees or duties on vehicles older then 20 years. Now that I've said that I will go and check as its been some time since I last did. Wonder what our monies translate into?

I bought the bumpers NOS and brought them to a chroming-place. The rear-bumper is from the new Bus-Model. Unfortunately 4 cm too long. I have been to your city last week, Henry. Do you go to the oldtimer-meeting in Timbo at the 15th/16th?

comprou novas e mandou a cromagem. O Parachoque trazeiro e do modelo Kombi novo. Infelizemente 4 cm mais comprido. Estive em sua cidade na semanha passada, Henry. Vc vai para Timbo em dia 15/16 para encontro do carros antigos?

Great Looking Machine...

Question. You replaced the sliding windows with popouts... Why is that?

I have a mish mash Brazilian half Baywindow Half Splitwindow that I am bringing back to the road. A big job, no two ways about it.

The rear doors are splitwindow style (not sliding) and I am wanting to fit sliding windows to them (for my dogs to put their heads out)... I have hunted high and low to find some. So I was intrigued to see them fitted to your machine. Just what I was looking for!
Are they any good?

Just kidding, enjoy them, they're yours!
