Yes, the setup is a DLI , the same as the others, only I recieved mine in late 2005 after Mr Landy had issues with B/M - Holley, and went with a screw drive Magnacharger on my setup. Also I had my holley 650 carb rejetted and converted to alcohol for e85. As for the intake, I built it from 3" exhaust and sheet metal. |

If only I could get that to fit in a split bus engine bay, without having to cut the hole in the top???
Wont allow it over here

What prices are the chargers.
I am seriously thinking of going with just one now as that would look pretty good sticking up out of my back window.
Engine would be a stroker 2007 and isnt built yet so comp ratios could be built to suit.

| When I purchased mine, DLI was having issues with blower suppliers, so I had to wait over 6 months for them to re-design and machine a new charger. In the end, after all the labor and time I paid around $4500 for the whole kit including , extra pulley, holley carb, and polished manifolds. I first saw this setup in a vwtrends mag back in '94 and instantlly fell in love with it. I sent for info and recieved a packet which I still have to this day, and it stated that the kit was around $2000 back then. I was a teen back then and didn't have that kind of loot, but always said when I get the cash, I'll get it. Finally in jan.2005 I placed my order and then was hit again by sticker shock. Inflation SUCKS! Anyways, I love this setup, its been good to me, and the magnacharger seems to wine louder than the previous b-m kit. Now I have a question , does DLI still make this kit? I know Mr. Landy passed this previous year, and I noticed dli stopped advertising in HotVw's as of last June's issue. I've tried to get a hold of them, but it seems as though the number I have is no longer in service. If they still do and somebody could pass along their number I would greatly appriciate it.Thanks in advance. |

Thanks
