| I'm initiating a search for a 1965 Squareback that belonged to my father. My Dad bought the car right off the boat from Germany in 65 and drove it until his death in 1989. Like a fool I made a half-hearted attempt to restore and then sold it to a gentleman who lived in Ocean Beach, CA ( a community in San Diego). At the time I lived in the community of Clairemont which is also in San Diego, Calif. I'm searching records for a VIN or license plate number but have come up empty so far. The car was sold in 1990. I know it's a reach but I'd like to find it and restore back to original condition. Thanks for any help John Brumley (619-778-9608) |

Once you find out the licence plate #, or vin #, let me know and I can have the numbers ran for you to give you an address of where the car is, or where it was last registered.

| New information. Still searching for the VIN but the License Plate number was OZP 957. I've got a good lead on the VIN and will post as soon as I find it. Thanks |
