Bentley has one setting, I have found that between 1/2 a turn AFTER you feel the lifter, and NO more than ONE turn

Bentley says 2 turns in....

I get a dead miss on a 1.9 doing that, by using a compression tester as a guide, and following Bentley's advice on 2 turns, the compression went from 30 to 60 to 150 each 1/2 turn back

so, long and the short of it....1/2 turn once you FEEL the lifter touch
