dp,

Can you post a pic of your wife in bath ready condition?

It would help us with further research on this topic...

Can I use my dashboard as a corkboard and pin to it every bit of information that I learn from thesamba.com using little note papers until they cover it. Has anyone done this before and if so can they post pics? Laughing

Yes, speaking of that thread, this one could (in theory) be taking a bath ...

Why is it, that girls wear T-shirts emblazoned with slogans in small script across their chests and then object when one gets closer, in an attempt to read it; especially when one is myopic like me!?! Embarassed

Nigel, that's one of the best lines I've heard in a long time!! Good work.

BTW if ya' get caught staring, just audibly read the message on the shirt... with an intentional mistake included. It goes a long way to back up the claims of vision problems!

What makes you think the mistake would be intentional!?! Eh? I suppose one could trace the letters with one's index finger, but that might result in getting one's face slapped.

I suppose that's what happens when one drives a passion wagon, which comes factory-fitted with a double bed.

When camping in the rough or music festivals, we use a Coleman porta (sun) shower which I set up on the back hatch. I use a firm tent pole set in the back inside middle of the hatch to support the full water bag on top of the hatch. Then using three opaque shower curtains, using clothes pins(clamps would work as well however a bunch of clothes pins work just fine), I attach the shower curtains all the way around the hatch and one across the open hatch to keep water off the bus, inside and out. I then take the shower hose nozzle and work it into an opening between the pins and use one of those cheesy faux grass door mats to stand on the soon to be wet grass/dirt.

Works surprisingly well in a pinch...

Interesting, i like your idea the best. And for the record I did not insist you could bathe in the luggage rack I simply stated that I bet hippies back in the day tried it. Very Happy

I've got one of those tent things for shower / toilet that could be used. Used to have a sun shower. Should still... somewhere.

My camper didn't come factory with anything. It's actually going to cause me a problem with re-registration in this state. It was made into a camper, factory fresh, from a panelvan. So it's only rated to carry two people.

I don't know about the bathtub, but I can vouch for the Sunshower... a month straight, and it was great! In full sun, it warms enough water for a full, decent shower and hair-washing (and I have the gentle hippie hair thing going, so it's not like its a crew-cut) in about 4 hours of direct sun. It got cloudy at the end of the trip, so I simply half filled it from an ice-cold rainwater cistern, and boiled a gallon of water in the kettle, and poured it in. It made it as hot as I could stand it!
