I picked up an part, i think it is an barndoor part.
Please see pict and tel me what you think.
it is the nose of an transmission.

Bus split-case transmission nosecone.

I don't believe Barndoor and post-Barndoor nosecones are different but I don't have mine here to check.

early and later barndoors are differant,thats why i thout it was an early one,i had them mixed up.

Do you mean the earlier full crashbox, no synchromesh transmissions?

I'm not surprised they are different and would be interested in seeing some photos for reference.

the youger one has 3 rib on top ,and has a sort of (it looks like a filler hole or something,but it's not) kind of button chaped thing on top.
