So, this opens up the possibility of two Barndoor Binz trucks. These two trucks appear to be different colors, unless there was a repaint in between pictures.

Good eyes, I didn't even look for that. they could have just "disappeared" due the pixalation, but I think you would still at least see something there......

That really says nothing, the second picture is obviously an ad pic of some kind, while the first pic appears to have been taken after it left the factory/dealershhip.

you could just take a barn door dc and convert it to a barn door binz. I dont really get that..I get that a barn door bus is were ther is a larger engine bay and the vent in the front is gone but how come you call a truck a barn door when there is still the standerd size engine bay? Confused

Have you fitted up the bed slats yet greg? Curious to see how they go. I'm even more curious to see how binz ever put the slats back in with that nasty gas weld in the bed.

Woodslats are waiting on me to do some paint work before they go in. The Slats for the canopy are working out just fin though.

Thanks again...

There is a newly restored Binz here in Phoenix area. It was at the Karls Custom show this year. It is probobly one of the nicest Binz's known to exist.

That's been around for awhile now. It belongs to Joe Caraway.

Dan Kinsey's old Binz (the '57 look a like picture at the beginning of this thread) in Nor Cal now, near me as well.
