I've got a dune buggy that I am working on. I just picked up a wiper assembly from the junk yard. I tested it on a 12 volt battery that I had and everything worked. I got the 2 speed switch from the bug as well. There are 6 terminals on the switch and 5 or 6 on the motor. 1 wire I though was the hot wire I clipped and there was another wire that had a post terminal on it that I thought was the ground. When I finished installing it and tested it, it runs backwards ie. the arms point toward the passenger side when they are off and parked. If I were to try to get arms to point toward the driver side, they would stop in the up position. How do I need to switch this around? I tried switching the 2 wires ( the post terminal to the hot and the other to the ground but it still runs the same. |
