My Oval has two different front wings. The left one I believe is an OG with a clearly visible different shape compared to the right one (as I have marked with red arrows) which is a later model.

Yes the one on the left is OG .There are probably other differences with that wing including the area around the headlamp and running board mount area. Some repro fenders are worse than others but none are correct in the running board area or the shape around the headlamp. You might also notice the headlamp bowl on the back of the og one is rounded at the back rather than flat.Oval wings are a bit wider to and appear to curve over the wheel more.Metal conduit will also be missing from a repro unless it was added later.Pics posted on previous page.

Hello, I buy two wings that theoretically come from an oval 1957, the question is that when cleaning the old paint I get the logo AUSS 298 is an ID?

One wing have changed the lamp housing but otherwise the wings look the same, if they were of an oval 1957 would correct mount on a 1954?

Fenders appear correct. The very low mounting of later tail lights suggests where the originals where mounted, plus no over rider holes. The fronts appear to have the bulged headlight detail, plus the turn signals are in the wrong place so added later. I don't see evidence that bullet signals where mounted, fitting since it should be a semaphore car.
