I got the rear-facing jumpseat, rear bench, and pad over the engine reupholstered with a tweed & vinyl. It came out great and I thought I'd share the info with other Samba readers.
The name of the shop is Jesus Auto Upholstery:

They are in El Cerrito, 10 minutes north of Berkeley...right off of San Pablo Ave across from the El Cerrito Plaza. It's a small shop, Jesus is the owner and a super nice guy. His son Junior was always there as well and said he's been learning the biz since he was a little boy. They do all kinds of vehicles, campers, and even furniture. The cost was very reasonable and the quality of work is top-notch!

Very nice. My dog chewed up the carpet on the back/lid of the passenger seat  need to fix.

can I ask you how much you paid? I want to get my bus done and was curious of rough costs...
