My gas gauge on my 67' 12 volt bus works fine but the only thing is when you fill it up it only reads about 3/4 full. It does not have any type of adjustment on it. Does anyone know if it's the gauge or is the sending unit not working properly to give the right fuel level or what?

I'm not for sure but I have had bad readings from mine due to the gauge not being grounded.
Hope this helps.

Mine has always done the same too, even after I got a new guage.

I'm a novice, but the sending unit mounted on the top of the gas tank is also responsible for what you see on the gauge. Perhaps there is some sort of calibration ajustment available on the guage or the sending unit? I wonder if switching from 6 volt to 12 volt makes any difference? Mine is 12 volt.
