Saw this is the parts gallery.
Says it's their first try.
Looks pretty damn good to me.

looks good, but my car needs fenders, not floor pans.

I only see one detail that looks incorrect.
The little indentions I have have circled. I don't believe they came to be until '56 when they added the floor mat posts to the pan. I might be wrong. They might have come to be in '55 but my late '51 does not have them.
See the pan below.
I can't wait to buy a pair. _________________ Chris

Is it just me or does it look like the Funky panel is the inverse/reverse of the passenger side pan? _________________ Cheers,

the second black and white photo is one that I photoshoped to show the difference between later(left) and earlier (right) so yes your observation is correct but the left one is not correct until '56. _________________ Chris

Ok, so the funky panel is for the left hand side on Split - '55 then? _________________ Cheers,

I think I just wet my pants
Gerson - when do you think these will be completed?? I'll need both halves. And I do agree, however, that the little indendations/bumps are not correct for the 50, 51 or 53 zwitter I own, so I'm thinking that must be something from a later design.
Thanks for all your hard work!! |

The indentations look like they may be in right place for the seat clamp bolts. They look like the same place in my Standard. There are no seat tracks, only 4 bolts for each seat to hold the clamps and the clamps hold the tube under the the seat frame. This was done so that parking attendants could not adjust the seat. Just a guess. |
