| I forgot to mention that I'm also adding 1/4 plate to the front like it was before to mount the brake line brackets and fuel pump too. |

Thanks.
Yeah I plan on bracing the frame head for sure. 3/4 square tubing. Might be a little heavy but rather be safe than sorry. |
I used a combination of square tubing, and heavy angle iron to create my extended axle/frame head support.
I just fab'd it up as I went a long... _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}

True true. That's how this whole build has been. Build as you go. I think that's what has made it so fun.

Love this build! I'm looking into building a Volksrod truck out of scraps I saved from the crusher as well. Mine will be a vert though since I scored a 65 vert front clip.
Keep up the good work _________________ 1974 Superbeetle 1641cc 17.9@72mph, 1957 Ragtop, 1969 "Splash" Bug, 1966 Beetle, 1993 Corrado SLC 3.6L, 2013 BMW X3

Had a little free time so I messed with a shifter idea a bit. Gonna have to shorten it about 3"-4".

Love the dash. Love the shifter. Is your trans raised? What is the secret concerning the bed? |
