I saw the pics of the car at the Volksworld show and it was the car of the year for me. But now that I've seen the build pics, I am speechless!!! _________________ 1963 Karmann Ghia - Sold

Original Rometsch english wheel.
This tree trunk was used in the factory to beat out some of the aluminium panels.
Other Rometsch tools.
It was amazing for me to see and touch the tools that made my car. |
Love the car, but this right here is worth a million bucks. Congrats _________________ Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! |

Hallo lennyhope,
Cool pictures, I had not seen those before.
This car is not Adam's car. The car on the pictures is an earlier Lawrence that is still hiding somewere in California.
I am running to Rometsch Lawrence registry and this is the only car out of the 31 known, were I don't have contact with the owners. I would love to know more about this car.
The blue car on the picture is a Wendler. _________________ Dutch Karmann-Ghia and coachbuild lover.

If my memory serves me correctly, and it may not, both of those cars belonged to Dr. Dick at that time. I remember them from that show. |

This is his profile on the site, his username is his email.
I would email and not PM since he hasn't used the site in months according to his profile page:
