So, anyone have any ideas on repairing/replacing/buying one of these? The lower part of mine is pretty well swiss cheese.

TIA!

i wouldnt bother with the vent window. that is a bad rust area. the full window from the opposite side of similar year bus will pop right in. you lose the vent window but have a new seal and no more rust prone area.

find some junk yard or swap meet pieces...on my Bus, I used parts from six different vent windows. The new rubber is kinda expensive, but well worth it.

I bought one off ebay for 5 bucks and got one at a swap for 10. Just got to keep your eyes open. Both of the ones I bought came with decent seals.

Thanks guys!

I was hoping to keep the vent wing, but if push comes to shove, I'll see about removing that feature and going 1 piece.

I'll keep scouring EBay.

I think vent wings are the best thing since sliced bread.

Think of all those cal-look bug guys that are all on a mad hunt for OG vents. They are paying for the 80's debauchery of one-piece windows.
