No, you forgot the DKW F12 lieferwagen .....  They built out of a regular sedan ( small car indeed) in 59 a stationcar with closed sides.
I'll see if I can find a pict of it.( I have it at my home PC)

They are already working on 4 other Rometsches (3* Lawrence and 1* Beeskow) and Christian is also prepairing a split window beetle for a rally.
So, they haven't sit still in the last couple of weeks.

The Bähnle was traded to the Prototype-Museum in Hamburg. They will bring it back on the road and have the recources to build and legalize the maching trailer.

Did you know, that there were also narrow gauge trains for parks, designed with parts of old DKW and VW parts, using aircooled VW or Porsche engines

No, this is not the one of the VW Factory!
During 1956 and 1957, this was a short undergrond line to reach the exhibition "Interbau" in Berlin. The line went through real underground tunnels that have not been completed with rails for the underground yet, as they were recently build. The distance was between the stations Berlin "Hansaplatz" and "Zoologischer Garten".
They had build two trains, "Onkel Arthur" and "Eduard I", named after VW dealer Eduard Winter and the constructor Arthur Franke, together the two had build up these trains. |

And today the oval was moved from the storage in Hamburg, this time to get the attention it deserves by the new owner.
Would anyone know if the wagons have survived or where we could find more info on them? |
