|
|
| Hello. This is my first post so forgive me if I'm in the wrong section. I have an 82 westy that I have been piecing back together for a few years now. I have always notice screw holes above the rear seat passenger side window but never knew what they were for until I came across a vanagon sales brochure online. Looks like plastic decorative/trim piece that covers the curtain rod?? Anyone have a name or part number?? Where I could find one?? Any information is appreciated. Thanks. |

Hard to find in good condition. They are usually deteriorated.
Looks like the following picture.
I had a replacement made up from aluminum. _________________ Its a mistress; an expensive, whiney, needy bitch of a mistress. | Thanks for the reply. That is it! Any idea where to find one?? I've never seen one listed for sale on samba. Definitely hard to find. Is there a part number on it? Thanks again. |

Only came on a few years.
In the last three years I have seen exactly one for sale, and I bought it. The plastic deteriorates after 30 years - becomes very brittle.
No idea on a part number.
Since you are one small state south, I do have my broken one that you could use as a template to have an aluminum one made?
