I like the way they treat me! I wanna get a pickle barrel a checker board set it up and hang out there all day. When i leave i will be much smarter than when i got there! If you look smart and act like u know everything than they will do anything u ask! If you are like me as dumb as i look then they will tell u everything always a great day when i need to go to carcraft quality work and the best prices anywhere. There is nobody quite like Ed and ron never misses an e-mail always get and answer from Ron. Have u checked out there pan restorations Top notch there pans are very nice! |

I have been ordering from car craft here and there and I'm yet to have a complaint. The first order wasn't much because I thought some of the prices were too good to be true. They arrived, good quality parts. I am pleased with my purchases and be a returning customer. |

I needed to order a bunch of parts for my Manx clone (on 59 chassis) and my 70 standard beetle. It was all mostly small stuff like seals, shims etc. I got all the items in my cart on CIP1.com along with a carb kit. The shipping was outrageous so I called CIP to see if they could put all the small stuff in the carb box to save shipping and they flat out refused to even consider it. something about computer system blah blah UPS blah blah automatically calculated whatever.
Then I called Mid America Motorworks with my parts list from CIP1, I called the telephone order line and started telling the guy all the parts I needed (maybe 15 parts), before I even got to the 2nd one he said that he wasn't going to sit there and look them all up, that I should goto the website and just order them. OK. Bye
Then I called Car Craft. I spoke to Ron and he said to send over my list. I printed my CIP cart to a PDF and sent it to him. He got back to me the next morning with a great price and was able to get all the other parts in the box with the carbs and priority shipping!. He was very friendly and seemed to actually WANT my business, well he's got it, I'm not dealing with anyone else in the future.
(5 STARS) I highly recommend Car Craft and will use them again in the future.
EDIT: I did the math, I saved $137.58(including shipping priority to NY) using CarCraftStore.com over the exact same order at CIP1.com. _________________ http://CNYBuggy.org - Central New York Dune Buggy Club

I just recently made a second purchase from these guy's . I'm still waiting on the last order and it's due tomorrow . I'm impressed with their ability to get parts out as rapidly as they do , It's always a issue with me living on the East coast to get parts in a timely manner . Haven't experienced that problem with these guys and in fact I'd say customer service ranks higher than some of the bigger name dealers . Reasonable pricing and no gouging on shipping and handling either .

Placed another order with Ron/Carcraft. This makes about the fourth time so far. I had a few questions about some items on the order and they gladly answered any questions I had. The following day I realized I could use some fuses and sent them a email to add it to the order if it hadn't shipped already. Ron caught the order and put the fuses in the box with my previously ordered parts. Ron sent me a email " Couldn't bill you this time for the fuses as it already went through, Just send me $5.00 when you get the chance or on your next order". This is a prime example of how business can and should be done. It's a shame all business can't be conducted in this manner. That five bucks of fuses and the effort it took to walk to a box and drop them in says a lot to me about where these guys priorities are. I say again, Thank you to Ron and the crew. Look forward to doing business with you guys again soon.

I called car craft and talked to Ron, I told him I need everything to build a 1776 long block less heads and a case. He got my name and number and told me he would get a list together and call me the next day. He did exactly that. I got everything shipped to my door for under $900 in less than four days. Only problem was that the nuts in the engine lock nut kit stripped out the threads pretty easy. I never called him about it, I just used the originals. I'm sure he would of made it right if I would of mentioned it.
I will be calling Ron in the next few weeks for everthing needed to build a 1968cc engine.
Great company to work with, thanks again Ron. |

My recent experience with car craft has been great/ exceptional!
I order parts 5-29-14, received an email almost instantly confirming my order.
Ron in particular was stellar! I had a question on the gland nut I ordered (noticed the part number was an empi part number and I didnt want an empi glad nut...), I emailed the next day 5-30-14 (morning) and he responded very quickly.
By lunch time that day, Ron substituted a better gland nut (scat) for the one I ordered (because it fit my application better). The price was comparable between the two..
Ron even called several times to ensure I ordered the right pistons, as my email indicated I was building a 1915 (ordered 85.5")... I am actually building two engines.. but it was nice that he took the time to call and ensure I was ordering what I needed.
Furthermore, Ron had my order shipped out that day (Friday 5-30-14)!
As a side note ground shipping was pretty fast.. received my parts 6-5-14..
Everything was packaged well/tight! NO damage...
After getting my packages last night, I noticed that I didn't get everything I ordered (mainly when I ordered quantities of 2 of something.. I only received one).. I chalk it up as an honest mistake...
So I called Car craft right away, There sales team set me up! The will be sending the missing items in a priority box asap.. along with a free T-shirt!!
I recently submitted another order (on 5-30-14) from a "larger" company that produces exclusive products (can only get from them) that car craft doesn't carry and the order hasn't even been processed yet almost a week later...
Thanks again Car Craft for great customer service, good prices, and fast shipping! As a suggestion perhaps you could carry a larger variety of products.. then I could order almost everything through you!!

The Carcraft guys don't spend their day pecking away at computer keys answering questions here (selling parts ). Great business ethics and they make no excuses. Yeah you could get supposed better parts elsewhere but nowadays they all are from China in some way or another. |
