I was wondering if this was leftover from when van had power sliding door and lift for wheelchair. I was hoping some of hydraulic stuff was left for making a power scissor top.

If you are talking about that finned tube, yes, those are normally sold as transmission coolers.

And all those non-oem switches are anyone's guess. Time to trace some wires.

Good to know the finned h/e is most likely the transmission cooler. Is it worthy? I have seen other carats around with the same set up. Any idea of who does the wheel chair access conversion? 4 pulleys on the engine. AC power steering, Alt, and the one on right? Trans cooler pump?

Good news: A donor seat box for driver side for replacing the one cut for the special slide and rotate chair [4 sale cheap Smile].

Donor top could be delivered in October! This van will be a gem when Im done. The van less period has ended as well. How do you go to the beach with out a vanagon after having one?!?!
