When I posted in the "hunting" thread, I was asked to start a build thread. Here it is. You'll have to forgive my ignorance in the ways of the bus. I've owned, built and chopped up many bugs and type 3's in the past 35 years but this is my first split bus.
It needs rust repair, bumpers and a motor. It came with a deluxe passenger front door and drivers seat. Mcode shows that it had a full width middle seat. If anybody has a '66 double flip seat, I have a jar of unicorn tears to trade.LOL

Wow cool find!
Putting every drop of sweat into this rare find is truly worth it. Very few of these DD kombi's run the streets..
Yea lets see the M plate please |

Coolest big nut bus I've seen in a long time. On top of the DD WT option (utterly coolest feature combination of any bus), the bus is also L345, wow. Thanks for starting this thread, I have to stay out of the Bus Hunting Thread as going there gives me wood to collect even more buses. |

Great starter bus. We all know (though maybe you don't) that this is just the first bus. _________________ Judy
