1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro ( 4 Wheel Drive) Standard Transmission, Ac, Original Radio and Hub Caps. 140,000 Miles. I bought it as a project and don't have time to mess with it. It has a spark plug broke off in the engine. Full of antifreeze and oil looks good. There is some minor seam rust, the underneath looks like new it was under coated years ago very well. I believe the engine is stuck from sitting.

Yeah - it needs a few more dings like the new bash on the nose... _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX

Did anyone else here inquire about this one? I emailed him night before last to ask where it was located...got a reply yesterday morn that it was in Palm Springs. I called almost immediately after reading the email and left a message and sent another email. No reply yet...
I saw it was listed in several CL locations and for different prices ($3500 & $3200). I'm wondering if it was a scam? _________________

But the price IS final. |

Yep. Good deal.
Full disclosure - I know the dude.
The van needs a little work in the cosmetic finishing department, but mechanically and electrically it has been well taken care of by an owner with a high level of mechanical/electrical aptitude. Cool high top set up. Nicely outfitted 4 season recreation dream machine right there. _________________ 1986 Root Beer Syncro Tin Top....so many plans.

Here's a likely good deal:
http://winchester.craigslist.org/cto/4702864659.html
86 gl tintop with an ej22 already installed, with a probable head-gasket issue, for $ 3,000.

A little bit of fun to bring it over, but this rig looks like it has real possibilities!
