Alright so I've removed my entire intake/fuel injection apparatus for a thorough cleaning / refurb and I happen to see a cut wire which is located on the back of the engine where it goes on to connect to the transmission. The wire is gray and has a plug on one end with a cap and three prongs inside. The other is connected to the engine transmission mating spot to the right of the split in the engine case. Anyone have an idea as to what it may be . ..... I hope my description is alright

It looks like trouble, better Cut it off, that way it won't bite you later on, you've all ready spent too much time on it.
