On my 69 deluxe, some of my original kick panels have the plastic covering pealing off about a quarter of the way down. Whats the best way to fix this? Is there something like a spray adhesive that will work for this?
Also, the sun roof seems to be stuck. It was stored for 15 years, in a garage, no rust, and I think it is some how frozen. I dont want to force it open, any suggestions?
While im at it, should I apply white grease to the track of the sliding cargo, it is hard to open due to lack of lube? |

New kick panels are the way to go.
The cardboard ones eventually rot from condensation anyway. I hauled a set back here from England, but I'm sure that BudDepot or Ronnie sells them here in the US.
In the UK, they now sell them made of a stiff plastic which I would have preferred had they been available at the time. |
