If you have questions about the Go Westy Brake Light Switches, you cant go wrong with the ATE Brand that Van Cafe has. The ATE parts I have now and have used on my 82 Westy have performed flawlessly. |
I was mistaken, the Master Cylinder came with them and are actually from Van Cafe. They now carry FTE as well as Gowesty. I got 2 FTE switches from Van Cafe with the MC and bought two from Gowesty and all 4 are identical.
I called Van Cafe and he said that FTE and ATE are continually competing for the EOM brand and currently FTE is what they offer. Ideally, I would like ATE.
Oh well, now I have 2 spares (which ill likely need one day).
Cheers! _________________ 1982 Westy "Adeline" 2.3, Air-cooled, Dual Weber Carbs - Left my job of 10 years to hit the road full-time. Instagram @KyloRich |

Nothing wrong with having spare parts. VW did use a few different manufacturers for their builds. |
